The museum has a detailed display in its main gallery of local First Nations artifacts, the history of settlement, and the BC Cowboy Hall of Fame. These exhibits are free to experience during our regular business hours.
The museum is also preparing to develop new exhibits and expand its current offering. These include displays on local industries like forestry and mining, the non-European settler communities, and the Cariboo Residential School, among many others. These exhibits are being developed through an extensive consultation process in partnership with relevant community members. By summer of 2018 these additional exhibits should be ready for public viewing.
In the meantime, visitors will find our current displays in the main gallery informative, entertaining, and engaging.
