Man in Motion Tour:
The Lost Film Negatives.

In July of 2023, the museum acquired “lost film negatives” belonging to Don Alder, one of Rick Hansen’s closest friends. Don was also an integral part of the Man in Motion Tour during the 1980’s and travelled with Rick as he crossed over 40,000 km in an effort to raise awareness and money for spinal cord research. These film images were taken by Don and other members of the team, during one of the legs of the tour, crossing through Washington, Oregon, California and over into Europe.
